What frustrated me, even more, was that despite my efforts and my motivation, I couldn't change how my body looked.
The whole process of building up my body felt SO complicated... (When in reality it's NOT!)
Now though, I can look back at my past situation, and analyze it clearly.
And, honestly, I made A LOT of mistakes trying to make the changes I always desired.
I tried different suffering diets that didn't work. (Lost some weight but ended up regaining it - AND MORE!...)
I tried several workout routines that I didn't like, and none of them significantly changed my looks or strength...
And the worst of all?
I was making a crucial mistake, that was invisible to me at the time, but it got in the way of my success every single time that I tried to change my body.
It affected my progress so much that if you were to ask me today ''What's the one thing you could change if you started your journey all over again?''...I would change THAT thing without any hesitation.
That's how detrimental it was to my goals at the time.

Well, I Was Rushing Through The Whole Process, Stupidly Trying To Get Fast Results.
I was so obsessed with how I looked in front of the mirror and willing to do whatever it took to look better, as fast as possible.
I spent hours browsing social media, reading fitness magazines, and watching several videos on YouTube that promised fast and dramatic results.
As I watched the fitness influencers flexing their sculpted physiques and defined abs, I felt a deep desire to achieve the same for myself.
I couldn't wait to make progress so I followed their advice and started doing strict diets and intense exercise plans.
That's how determined and motivated I was.
At first, I was excited to see the changes happening to my body. Losing a little bit of fat, gaining some muscle, my clothes started to fit better...
But usually after a couple of months, I started to feel discouraged...
The results weren't coming as fast as I would like.
That made me even more obsessed with the whole process. I was trying harder to get the same rapid results as before.
I set more strict food restrictions (allowing only a small cheat meal every 10 days) and spend more hours training, thinking these changes would make a difference.
I also tried more of the ''6-Pack in 30 Days'', and ''How to Lose Belly Fat in X amount of days'' programs that were advertised online...
Of course, they didn't work.
I felt like I hit a wall. I didn't know what else I could do to make progress.
All those strict routines started to take a toll on me.
I thought if I went all in, I'd be happier and more confident.
But in reality, I was becoming exhausted and my mental health was suffering.
Then the breakdowns started to happen...
Eat twice as much as I normally would, skip my workouts to ''rest''...and end up feeling ashamed of myself...
Whatever it was, something knocked me off my plan.
I was telling myself that I was going to get back at it tomorrow, next week, next month...
And before I knew it all my progress was gone!
Whenever I recall those moments, I believe that I was trapped in a way. I was blindly following whatever the fitness gurus were telling me to do - even though every time I tried their fancy advice, I didn't make any improvements or feel better than when I started.
After 2 Years Of Ups And Downs, I Got Tired Of Getting The Same Disappointing Outcome.
I knew deep down that I could achieve long-term success, all I needed was a plan that would work.
So I decided to take a more rational approach to my situation.
My new goal was to find a scientific explanation for what I was experiencing. Who can prove science wrong, right?
So, I started reading a lot of studies trying to understand how the human mind and body actually work.
And in my favor, I had made the right decision!
Because I realized that my previous approach was completely wrong!
